Ecopetrol realizó ronda virtual con proveedores regionales

El programa ‘Vocaciones Productivas Diversas de Ecopetrol’ promociona la contratación de productos de las regiones donde opera la Empresa.

19 de junio de 2020.   Ecopetrol realizó la Primera Ronda Virtual “Somos Colombia”, un espacio para contribuir a la reactivación de la economía nacional, a través de la generación de oportunidades de relacionamiento entre 50 empresas de vocaciones productivas regionales y 30 empresarios de diferentes sectores industriales de origen nacional e internacional.

Durante la jornada, la primera de varias que se realizarán en los próximos meses, se concretaron más de 320 reuniones en las cuales los proveedores locales ofrecieron sus productos a representantes de empresas del Grupo Ecopetrol (Hocol y Cenit), así como la petrolera Gran Tierra, Empresas Públicas de Medellín, el Grupo Éxito, KOBA Colombia (representante de Tiendas D1), Jerónimo Martins (Tiendas ARA), Hotel GHL y las 11 empresas operadoras de los casinos de Ecopetrol que suministran más de 12.000 raciones diarias de alimentos a los trabajadores.

“Para nosotros es muy satisfactorio apoyar esta iniciativa que hace parte de la estrategia de Vocaciones Productivas Diversas de Ecopetrol, que busca apalancar el desarrollo de otras actividades productivas en los territorios donde operamos como un aporte al crecimiento económico regional”, dijo el presidente de Ecopetrol, Felipe Bayón.

Vocaciones Productivas Diversas de Ecopetrolimpulsa la contratación de productos terminados o materias primas que se cosechan o producen en las regiones donde tiene presencia la Compañía, para que sean tenidas en cuenta para su contratación y/o comercialización por aliados contratistas, otras compañías operadoras, y/o empresas de otros sectores de la economía.

Para los productores locales, la experiencia permitió abrir la puerta a nuevos potenciales negocios y generar relacionamiento con empresas nacionales.

“En el evento se reconoció a Putumayo como un productor de pimienta de excelente calidad y en las reuniones de negocios dimos a conocer lo que hacemos, en qué trabajamos, a qué le apostamos. Presentamos nuestros portafolios de servicios y establecimos alianzas comerciales”, relató Evelio René Erazo Cerón, representante de Portal Amazónico, empresa dedicada a la producción y procesamiento de pimientas marca Biowayra.

Por regiones, en la ronda participaron empresas de vocaciones productivas del sector de alimentación de la siguiente forma:

  • Caribe:   Piña, hierbas aromáticas, aguacate, ñame, batata y helados, entre otros.
  • Magdalena Medio: Café, sacha inchi, hayacas y malteadas.
  • Orinoquía:   Piña, cacao, pan de arroz y tamales.
  • Sur:   Cholupa, café, arroz, pimienta, palmitos, chontaduro y sacha inchi.

La ronda virtual ‘Somos Colombia’ contó con el apoyo del Ministerio de Industria y Comercio, representado por Procolombia, Propaís y Colombia Productiva, y el acompañamiento de las Cámaras de Comercio locales, todos unidos con el objetivo de generar potenciales encadenamientos entre las empresas de diferentes sectores industriales y las de vocaciones productivas.
