Empresas del GLP apoyan la campaña ‘Solidaridad por los venteros informales’

La iniciativa cuenta con el apoyo de compañías afiliadas a la Asociación Colombiana del GLP (GASNOVA), para recoger donaciones que serán entregadas a los vendedores informales en Medellín que no han podido trabajar durante la cuarentena. La jornada se realizará del 2 al 5 de junio.

2 de junio de 2020.   Durante la cuarentena decretada en el país para evitar la propagación y contagio del coronavirus, miles de vendedores informales no han podido trabajar y en consecuencia no han percibido ingresos para el sustento de sus familias.

Debido a esta preocupación, surgió la campaña social ‘Solidaridad por los venteros informales’, que se realizará del 2 al 5 de junio en Medellín, con el objetivo de recaudar donaciones (en mercados o dinero en efectivo) para entregar a los hogares que pasan necesidades durante la pandemia.

La iniciativa, liderada por la Alcaldía de Medellín y su programa ‘Medellín me cuida’, cuenta con el apoyo de la GASNOVA y varias de sus compañías afiliadas: Chilco Distribuidora de Gas y Energía (a través de Gas País), Empresas Gasco (a través de Vidagas) y Norgas (a través de Gases de Antioquia).

“Desde el sector del GLP nos unimos a esta campaña porque sabemos que el ventero informal subsiste con su trabajo diario y hoy, en medio de esta crisis sanitaria del Covid-19, ellos necesitan del apoyo de toda la sociedad”, dijo Alejandro Martínez Villegas, presidente de GASNOVA, gremio que agrupa a las compañías de GLP en el país.

Las personas que deseen aportar sus donativos pueden dirigirse a cualquiera de los puntos solidarios establecidos por la Alcaldía de Medellín y los expendios de las compañías de GLP. 

Así mismo, quienes prefieran hacer sus donaciones desde su lugar de trabajo o residencia, pueden comunicarse con las líneas telefónicas 301 3004214 y 301 3004113.
