La familia Gaona, famosa por su canal en Youtube en el que enseñan a cultivar en casa, ahora cuenta con energía eléctrica en su vivienda. Esta familia ha sido beneficiada del programa de Enel-Codensa “Cundinamarca al 100%”, cuyo objetivo es llevar energía a hogares del departamento, ubicados en zonas de difícil acceso.
16 de junio de 2020. La familia Gaona, que recientemente se volvió tendencia en medios de comunicación y en Youtube, por el canal que crearon para enseñar a cultivar en casa, se convirtió en una de las beneficiadas del programa de Enel-Codensa “Cundinamarca al 100%”, que tiene como objetivo, energizar a las familias del departamento que, por estar ubicadas en zonas de difícil acceso, no cuentan con este servicio.
Ahora, la familia Gaona tendrá mayores facilidades para extender su labor social en Youtube, de enseñarle a todos los colombianos cómo pueden tener huertas y sembrar diferentes alimentos y plantas en sus viviendas.
Los “youtuber” Gaona se suman a las más de 2.300 familias beneficiadas de 87 municipios de Cundinamarca que ya han sido energizadas, pues nunca habían contado con este servicio, debido a que sus viviendas se localizaban lejos de las cabeceras municipales del departamento y en zonas de difícil acceso, donde no existe infraestructura eléctrica instalada, por las condiciones topográficas del territorio.
“Cundinamarca al 100% hace parte de nuestro compromiso por mejorar el acceso a la energía eléctrica y de nuestro objetivo de transformar vidas. A través de este, nuestra meta es llevar el servicio a más de 8.500 hogares, lo que permitirá mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas y contribuir al desarrollo y progreso del departamento. A cierre de 2020, esperamos conectar a cerca 1.200 familias en total, es decir, 510 familias más que en 2019”, señaló Ximena Leon, subgerente de la Unidad Operativa de Cundinamarca de Enel-Codensa.
Para hacer posible estas conexiones, Enel-Codensa ha ejecutado tres estrategias de energización, dependiendo de las dificultades de terreno de cada familia. La primera es a través de redes eléctricas convencionales, es decir, con la instalación de nuevas líneas de distribución de energía, con postes, cableado y transformadores.
La segunda es con la instalación de paneles solares individuales, con los que, mediante el uso de dispositivos tecnológicos, se capta la energía de la radiación solar para el uso doméstico.
Y la tercera, es la construcción de minigrids, sistemas con diferentes desarrollos tecnológicos para la generación, distribución y almacenamiento de energía renovable.
La financiación de la operación de “Cundinamarca al 100%” se ha dado gracias a inversiones propias de Enel-Codensa, y con recursos que provienen del Sistema General de Regalías, del Fondo de Apoyo Financiero para la Energización de las Zonas Rurales Interconectadas y de convenios de asociación con la Gobernación de Cundinamarca.
“Cundinamarca al 100% es una iniciativa alineada con el objetivo número 7 de desarrollo sostenible de las Naciones Unidas, referente a que más familias cuenten con el servicio de energía. Se estima que con los programas de Enel en el mundo, para el año 2020 más de 3 millones de personas se vean beneficiadas en Latinoamérica, África y Asia”, concluyó Ximena León.
