Francia: El aeropuerto de Lyon-Saint Exupéry será un centro de hidrógeno

Airbus, Air Liquide y VINCI Airports, tres actores importantes en las industrias de la aviación, el hidrógeno y los aeropuertos, unieron fuerzas para promover el uso de hidrógeno y construir una red de aeropuertos europeos para acomodar futuros aviones a hidrógeno.

28 de septiembre de 2021.   La alianza refleja la ambición compartida de los tres grupos de combinar sus respectivas experiencias para apoyar la descarbonización de los viajes aéreos.

El aeropuerto de Lyon-Saint Exupéry (centro de excelencia para la innovación de VINCI Airports) fue elegido como aeropuerto piloto por los socios y albergará las primeras instalaciones a partir de 2023. La implementación de este proyecto incluye varias fases:

• A partir de 2023: despliegue de una estación de suministro de hidrógeno en el Lyon-Saint Exupéry. Esta hidrogenera abastecerá tanto a los vehículos del aeropuerto (buses shuttle, camiones, equipos de manipulación, etc.) como a los de sus socios, así como a los vehículos pesados ​​que circulan por el aeropuerto. Esta primera fase es fundamental para probar las instalaciones y la dinámica del aeropuerto como “hub de hidrógeno” en su área de alcance.
