Reconocimiento a Promigás por cuidado del ecosistema

  • El reconocimiento regional fue otorgado a Promigás por la práctica correspondiente al Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible número 15, con la iniciativa “Experiencia exitosa en el rescate, traslado y supervivencia de plantas epifitas, lecciones aprendidas en cuidado de la biodiversidad”.

15 de noviembre de 2018.   En el marco del Making Global Goals Local Business” (Haciendo Metas Globales Negocios Locales), que se llevó a cabo en Bogotá, la Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, la Red Ecuatoriana de Pacto Global y la Red Colombiana de Pacto Global, con apoyo de todas las redes de Pacto Global de Latinoamérica, otorgaron los Reconocimientos regionales de buenas prácticas de desarrollo sostenible.

Durante esta primera versión de los reconocimientos, Promigás fue premiada por el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) número 15, que corresponde al cuidado de Vida de Ecosistemas Terrestres en la región Caribe, con la iniciativa “Experiencia exitosa en el rescate, traslado y supervivencia de plantas epifitas, lecciones aprendidas en cuidado de la biodiversidad en el marco del proyecto de gasoducto Loop San Mateo – Mamonal”.

Solo dos empresas colombianas, Promigas y Repsol, fueron las seleccionadas en este importante reconocimiento regional de buenas prácticas de desarrollo sostenible y que contó con la presencia de más de 100 líderes empresariales y gremiales.

La Secretaría Técnica de la organización otorgó el Reconocimiento a las Buenas Prácticas de Desarrollo Sostenible a Promigás, en concordancia con su objetivo de promover los objetivos y metas establecidas por la “Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible”, creada en 2015 por los 193 Estados miembro de las Naciones Unidas con el objetivo de acabar con la pobreza extrema, luchar contra la desigualdad e injusticia y proteger el planeta.
