Con ocasión de la 200a estación europea de abastecimiento de GNL, NGVA Europe presentó la nueva versión de su mapa de estaciones de GNC y GNL con nuevas funciones y una moderna interfaz para el usuario.

20 de mayo de 2019.   Europa alcanzó un nuevo hito en cuanto a transporte sostenible: inauguró la estación de carga de gas natural licuado (GNL) número 200. Esta red abastece a los más de 6.000 camiones a GNL que actualmente funcionan en Europa, un sistema de transporte con bajas emisiones de carbono.

A este crecimiento de las estaciones de GNL se le suma un espectacular aumento de las estaciones de GNC, que ya son 3.630. Además, hay cada vez más estaciones de servicio en Europa que proporcionan 100% biometano. Con 44 estaciones en Alemania que ya ofrecen este combustible renovable, ya suman 457 estaciones de biometano en el viejo continente.

Este desarrollo está respaldado por los objetivos de los Estados miembro que se describen en la Directiva sobre Infraestructura de Combustibles Alternativos (2014/94 / UE).
