3 de marzo de 2021.   Según France Gaz Liquides (antes Comité Français du Butane et du Propane -CFBP), en 2020 se matricularon más de 16.587 vehículos nuevos propulsados ​​por gas licuado del petróleo (GLP) en el país, frente a las 2.032 unidades vendidas en 2019, lo que supone un incremento del 716%.

“Además de estos buenos resultados, hubo un aumento de las ventas en el mercado secundario del 13,7% en comparación con 2019”, dice el informe.

Varios factores pueden explicar este renovado interés por parte de los conductores franceses, entre ellos la expansión de la oferta de mercado (principalmente del fabricante Dacia que vende todos sus modelos en versiones bicombustible gasolina / GLP a precios muy atractivos); el bajo precio del GLP que permite reducir los costos de combustible en casi un 30% en comparación con la gasolina, la pegatina Crit’Air 1, que permite que los vehículos Autogas puedan circular por cualquier lugar de Francia, y el bono de conversión, entre otros beneficios.

France Gaz Liquides también informó que las ventas de vehículos de Autogás han aumentado un 30% en el mercado europeo durante los últimos 10 años. Calculan que hay 8 millones de vehículos propulsados ​​por GLP en circulación dentro de la Unión Europea. Entre los líderes del mercado se encuentra Italia, que registró 93.464 vehículos el año pasado.
