AES Colombia construirá el Parque Solar Brisas en Huila

El parque tendrá una capacidad instalada de 26 MW y contará con 48 mil paneles de última tecnología.

5 de noviembre de 2021.   AES Colombia avanza en su estrategia de crecimiento con la adjudicación de un nuevo parque de autogeneración en el departamento de Huila. Se trata de Brisas, un complejo de energía solar de 26 MWp de capacidad instalada, que se construirá en el municipio de Aipe y que suministrará energía a la operación de Ecopetrol en esta zona del país. El Parque Brisas Solar contará con la tecnología más moderna en parques solares en el país incorporando paneles bifaciales y un mecanismo de seguimiento de sol.

La construcción y operación del parque fue adjudicada a través de un contrato de suministro de energía por 15 años entre Ecopetrol y AES Colombia. Con la puesta en marcha del parque se evitará la emisión de más de 216 mil toneladas de CO2 durante la vigencia del contrato, equivalente a la siembra de 1,7 millones de árboles, y su capacidad instalada equivale a energizar un municipio de 35 mil habitantes.

El Parque Brisas Solar se construirá en un área de casi 20 hectáreas y contará con más de 48 mil paneles de última generación que tendrán tecnología bifacial, que capta la luz del sol por ambas caras de los paneles, obteniendo la mayor eficiencia y el mayor factor de planta posible. Adicionalmente, el Parque contará con tecnología de seguimiento del sol, permitiendo que en todo momento los rayos impacten de manera perpendicular los módulos fotovoltaicos y así el aprovechamiento sea el mayor posible.

Como parte de su compromiso corporativo con la equidad de género, AES Colombia espera poder generar oportunidades de empleo para las mujeres huilenses durante la construcción de este proyecto, al igual que lo hizo en los parques Castilla Solar y San Fernando Solar en el Meta, donde logró la incorporación de cerca de 400 mujeres en el proceso constructivo.

Brisas Solar es el tercer parque que AES Colombia construye en el país, luego de Castilla Solar y San Fernando Solar en el departamento del Meta. Con este nuevo proyecto la compañía sumará más de 100 MW de capacidad instalada en parques solares de autogeneración, ratificando su posición como líder en este tipo de soluciones de energía en Colombia.
