La Compañía de energía recibió el Gran Premio Andesco a la Sostenibilidad 2019, en el marco del 21° Congreso de Servicios Públicos.
5 de julio de 2019. Enel-Codensa recibió el Gran Premio Andesco a la Sostenibilidad 2019 en el marco del 21° Congreso de Servicios Públicos, que se realizó a finales de junio en Cartagena, como reconocimiento a la excelencia y el compromiso en sus prácticas sostenibles de gestión social, ambiental, económica y de gobierno corporativo.
Los Premios ANDESCO son una iniciativa de la Asociación Nacional de Empresas de Servicios Públicos y Comunicaciones, cuyo objetivo es apoyar, promover y valorar los esfuerzos de las organizaciones entorno a la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, teniendo como base los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible
Enel-Codensa postuló una iniciativa por cada entorno, las cuales fueron analizadas bajo los lineamientos de Innovación, Gestión del Conocimiento, Generación de alianzas, Capacidad de aprendizaje, Generación integral de beneficios y Capacidad para trascender.
Dos de las iniciativas que fueron destacadas para obtener el Premio fueron la “Certificación del Sistema de Gestión Antisoborno de Enel-Codensa y Enel-Emgesa” y el programa “Educando con Energía”.
Como hecho relevante, la compañía fue reconocida por la integración que hace de la sostenibilidad a su estrategia corporativa y por el trabajo que realiza permanentemente para aportar a la consecución de seis de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de las Naciones Unidas, siendo este un compromiso adquirido por el Grupo Enel a nivel mundial.
“Nos satisface este Premio que nos otorga Andesco porque va más allá del reconocimiento de ser un buen proveedor de energía. Concebimos la sostenibilidad desde un genuino compromiso para integrarla en la estrategia corporativa y en las decisiones operacionales del negocio. Trabajamos enfocados en la transición energética, en la protección del medio ambiente, aportamos a la movilidad eléctrica, avanzamos en la digitalización y no menos importante, tenemos un compromiso frente a las comunidades, a la calidad de vida y a la equidad de género”, afirmó Lucio Rubio Díaz, director General del Grupo Enel en Colombia.
Iniciativas más destacadas
La Certificación del Sistema de Gestión Antisobornoes una acreditación estándar ISO 37001 que ayuda a prevenir, detectar y gestionar el riesgo de soborno de la forma más adecuada, además de exponer a los distintos grupos de interés su compromiso de tolerancia cero con la corrupción y el soborno, fortaleciendo la cultura ética y el buen gobierno corporativo.
Por su parte, Educando con Energíaes un programade la Fundación Enel Colombia en alianza con la Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos (OEI), creado hace 5 años con el propósito de fortalecer el desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales y procesos de orientación vocacional y profesional de jóvenes en situación de vulnerabilidad. Entre 2014 y 2017 la compañía implementó el programa en colegios públicos de Bogotá, beneficiando a más de 12.000 jóvenes, y en 2018, gracias al reconocimiento de la metodología por parte de la Secretaria de Educación de Bogotá, se formaron cerca de 400 docentes del Distrito quienes replicarán la metodología en 130 diferentes instituciones educativas de la Ciudad.
