  • La más grande distribuidora de bebidas de los Estados Unidos se subió a la tecnología del Autogás, para reducir costos de operación y bajar los niveles de contaminación de su flota de reparto.

14 de marzo de 2018.   Southern Eagle Distributing, una de las distribuidoras más antiguas de Anheuser-Busch en los Estados Unidos, adquirió vehículos a autogás para reducir tanto las emisiones como los costos de combustible. Los camiones se usarán en Charleston, Carolina del Sur, para entregar más de 600 tipos de bebidas.

«Hemos adoptado la tecnología Autogás para reducir nuestras emisiones generales y crear una flota más ecológica», dijo Jim Henderson, vicepresidente de operaciones de Southern Eagle Distributing.

«Cuidamos y apoyamos a nuestras comunidades locales y queremos impactarlas positivamente. Una flota menos contaminante beneficia a todos», agregó Henderson.

Los nuevos camiones de reparto Ford F-650 están equipados con un motor Ford 6.8L V10, con un sistema de combustible Roush CleanTech.

Estos motores de GLP están certificados a 0,05 gramos por hora para óxido de nitrógeno, son un 75% más limpios que el estándar actual de la Agencia de Protección Ambiental, y un 99% más limpios que los vehículos diésel construidos antes de 2007.
