Ecopetrol informó que las fuertes lluvias de los últimos días en la región del Casanare han ocasionado el deterioro de la vía nacional Sogamoso-Aguazul obligando su cierre.

10 de mayo de 2022.   Como consecuencia del cierre de la vía Aguazul-Sogamoso, los distribuidores mayoristas de Gas Licuado del Petróleo (GLP) que atienden cerca del 30% del mercado de la zona centro del país, no han podido retirar el producto en el campo Cupiagua de Ecopetrol en el Casanare.

La producción diaria del GLP del campo está estimada en 7.000 barriles diarios, por lo que la alternativa para suplirlos sería la importación por los puertos de Cartagena.

El Invías ya hizo una inspección para evaluar la condición de la vía y encontró una pérdida de la mitad de la bancada en un tramo de 80 metros de longitud. Así mismo ya está desplazando personal y equipos para iniciar los trabajos de reparación.

Ecopetrol informó que desde el primer momento, la empresa ha estado en comunicación permanente con la Gobernación de Casanare, la Alcaldía de Aguazul, el Ministerio de Minas y Energía, el Instituto Nacional de Vías (INVIAS) y las agremiaciones del GLP, manifestando su disposición para articular esfuerzos conjuntos que permitan iniciar las obras de recuperación de la vía de manera inmediata y de esta forma superar el impacto en el abastecimiento del GLP en el centro del país.
