Argentina: Conversiones a GNV crecieron 40% en 2021

El aumento en los precios de los combustibles líquidos entre agosto de 2020 y mayo de 2021 impulsó la instalación del gas en 135 mil vehículos.

27 de diciembre de 2021.   A pocos días para que termine el 2021, en Argentina se instaló el sistema de Gas Natural Comprimido (GNC) en 134.948 vehículos en lo corrido del año.

Esto marca un crecimiento del 38,7 por ciento en las conversiones con respecto a la actividad del año pasado (97.298), de acuerdo a las estadísticas publicadas por el Ente Regulador del Gas.

En el sector consideran que la demanda de gas natural vehicular subió por los excesivos aumentos que sufrieron los combustibles líquidos (gasolina y ACPM) desde agosto del año pasado, cuando el Gobierno de la Nación liberó los precios.

En toda Argentina hay actualmente un 12,3 por ciento de automóviles convertidos a GNC sobre el total del parque automotor que ya supera los 14 millones de unidades (14.564.842 exactamente), según un informe elaborado por la Asociación de Fábricas Argentina de Componentes con los números de 2020.
