París completa flota de 100 taxis a H2

  • Por la capital francesa ya ruedan cien taxis movidos con hidrógeno.

1° de agosto de 2018.    “Hype”, la flota de taxis impulsada por hidrógeno lanzada a fines de 2015 por el emprendimiento francés STEP (Société du Taxi Electrique Parisien) en asociación con Air Liquide, alcanzó el hito de los 100 taxis gracias a una nueva entrega de automóviles Toyota.

El fundador de Hype, Mathieu Gardies, recibió las llaves de 25 nuevos Toyota Mirai propulsados ​​por hidrógeno del director general de Toyota Francia, Didier Gambart, en presencia del vicepresidente ejecutivo de Toyota Motor Corporation, Didier Leroy, del CEO de Air Liquide, Benoît Potier, y del director y miembro del Comité Ejecutivo de Air Liquide, François Darchis.

Esta entrega es una nueva etapa en la puesta en marcha de la primera flota de taxis a hidrógeno del mundo, que contará con 600 vehículos para finales de 2020.

Estas entregas forman parte del proyecto ZEFER, gracias al cual Hype está acelerando su desarrollo en París y que ha recibido financiación de la Asociación Público-Privada de la Empresa Común de Pilas de Combustible e Hidrógeno 2 (JUF de FCH).

El hidrógeno brinda una respuesta a los desafíos de la movilidad sostenible y la contaminación local en las áreas urbanas. Se necesitan menos de cinco minutos para recargar vehículos propulsados ​​por hidrógeno, como los “taxis Hype”, con una autonomía de conducción de aproximadamente 500 kilómetros.
