Scania presentó su nueva generación de camiones a gas en Colombia

El segmento de los camiones en Colombia tiene nuevos integrantes gracias al más reciente lanzamiento de Scania.

1 de julio de 2019.   Con modelos de nueva generación, la compañía sueca trae al mercado esta nueva familia que fue presentada en un evento especial con test drives incluidos. En total, se ofrecen opciones de 7, 9, 13 y hasta 16 litros para el público colombiano.

Estos camiones llegan en diferentes niveles con versiones que funcionan a partir de combustibles diferentes como el biogás, biodiesel o gas natural, además de las variantes convencionales. Según el fabricante, disfrutan de una reducción del 12% en cuanto a consumo. Adicionalmente, el abanico de opciones abarca cabinas P, G y R o la nueva S.

Entre otros detalles, Scania ofrece el paquete XT con elementos para la operación fuera de ruta. Hablando de las mejoras en diseño, estos nuevos vehículos pesados gozan de un rediseño en sus cabinas, una acción tomada a favor de la comodidad y el espacio interior. Por ejemplo, el techo es ahora 10 cm más alto con lo cual llega a los 2,07 metros.

La marca escandinava, propiedad del Grupo Volkswagen, ahora también ofrece en el país andino la cabina S con piso plano que resalta por su confort y ergonomía. Igualmente, otra de las novedades importantes está en sus mejoras en aerodinámica.
